Lee will be running a circular route of 26.2 miles each day between 4 – 10 May, starting at Hartlepool College of Further Education and incorporating the Hart to Haswell walk.

The final run will be an alternative route, yet to be finalised, to which Lee is inviting other runners to join him for either the final 5 or 10k.

The College have offered additional backing to the project by providing water stations and recruiting students to run sections of the marathon alongside Lee, who has also been granted complimentary membership of the College’s gym to help with his training.

Lee is also holding a charity night at the Workingmen’s Club on King Oswy Drive on 27 March, with tickets priced at £5 per head to boost his total. For tickets to the event or further details, Lee, can be contacted on 07429 369164.
The Hospice are appealing for businesses to sponsor each of the seven races, which will include their company logo on Lee’s running vest on each relevant day, as well as other press coverage.

Lee has set up a Just Giving Page for people wishing to donate!
