Remember a loved one this Christmas and dedicate a light on our celebratory Christmas Tree ... every memory counts
About the event
With another year almost behind us and Christmas just around the corner, this is the time when many people pause to reflect on times gone by and the special people who are sadly no longer with us.
As time passes, some recollections can fade or become blurred, but I think we all have treasured memories of times and loved ones that grow stronger as the years slip away.
Whilst it can be painful to be without our lost loved ones at any time, Christmas is often when we miss them the most. Despite no longer being here, they live on through our fond memories and tributes.
This Christmas, we invite you to celebrate these lives in our Light up a Life campaign.
You can dedicate a light on our Light up a Life tree, which will be lit in tribute to all those in our thoughts. You will receive a personalised commemorative card and a Light up a Life badge to wear in their memory. You are also invited to join us at one or both of our Light up a Life memorial services, details of which are at the foot of the page; all are welcome.
The Light up a Life campaign is both a key part of the Hospice calendar and an important way of generating funds to sustain our specialist care services. To dedicate a light, please click on the ‘Dedicate a Light’ button at the top or bottom of this page.
I hope that this campaign offers you some comfort and an opportunity to reflect on happy memories.
On behalf of everyone at Alice House Hospice, I would like to extend our very best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
