Personal Assistant (Bank)

Alice House Hospice are currently recruiting Personal Assistants (commonly known as ‘PAs’) for bank work within the community.

The role will be to support clients in the community who need care and support to enable them to live their life independently in the way they choose.

Each role is unique and Personal Assistants carry out a wide range of tasks, providing flexible support with things like personal care, healthcare, domestic tasks, employment and social activities.

The work is very flexible and most roles are part-time across different days and times. The current package is to cover 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The client is based in Hartlepool, registered blind, has some hearing loss which makes it difficult to be in group situations.

The client has difficulties with pain from previous brain tumours and has previously had seizures.  The client is predominantly cared for in their own home but does need assistance to attend appointments, the client is a smoker.

The applicants must have their own car, (4 door) and class 1 business insurance.
