A leading North East food business have pledged to support Alice House Hospice as their new Charity of the Year.
Country Valley Foods approached their staff regarding which charity they would like to choose and the Hartlepool based Hospice was selected overall.
The Hospice has already enjoyed previous support from the organisation, who attend and donate towards the charity’s annual golf tournament, held at The Wynyard Club.

This year, Country Valley will be collecting in their Newboulds butchers’ shops throughout the region as well as taking part in various events to raise vital funding for people and families affected by incurable illnesses.
Country Valley Foods is a meat-processing and wholesale company which supplies food to businesses across the North of England including retailers, hotels, restaurants, healthcare providers and food manufacturers.
Corporate Fundraiser Greg Hildreth of the Hospice met with staff at Country Valley and said “We were delighted to be nominated by staff and look forward to working with them. Without the generosity of businesses such as this, we would not be able to sustain the delivery of our patient care services and I’d like to sincerely thank the team for getting involved.”
