Summer fundraising schedule well underway
Alice House’s busy summer events season is now well underway, with the popular Dogs’ Big Day Out and Summer Fayre events having both taken place already as well as a Royal Ascot Race Day.
Next up is the Colour Run on 21 July in which participants will be blasted with multi-coloured powdered paint along the route at Seaton Carew, which is just short of 5k.
Hospice fundraisers are also preparing for their Beer Festival on 26 August, Moonlight Walk on 8 September, Great North Run on 9 September, Golf Day on 28 September and a variety of community events in between.
As ever, all of the proceeds from these events will be used to fund the patient care services that the Hospice provides to patients and families affected by incurable illnesses.
Janice Forbes, a fundraiser at Alice House said “We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the people that support our events; the participants, sponsors, prize donors, great venues we work with, volunteers and businesses, all of whom make these great events possible in Hartlepool.”
