Celebrating Friendship Day

Monday 30th July 2018 is National Friendship Day

So this month why not celebrate National Friendship Day by coming along to our meeting on Saturday 28th July from 10:30am – Midday at the Wellbeing Centre, Wells Avenue.

We will get by with a little help from our friends … Alice House Hospice wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for all the friends and supporters from the communities of Hartlepool and east Durham.  From volunteering, to making donations to giving items for us to sell, it takes a huge team of people to make sure that hospice care is available all year round for our communities.

One such team is our Hospice Friends Group who meet every three months, over coffee and cake, to talk about how hospice care can improve for the changing needs of our community.  We come up with new ideas, perspectives and it is a really enjoyable group.

This is not a fundraising group, and members are not asked to make any financial contributions.  Hospice Friends is about sharing and learning from each other and enjoying a nice slice of cake at the same time!
