Remembering Mums on Mothers’ Day
Why not dedicate a glass brick in the Alice House Wall of Light in time for Mothers’ Day on 31st March this year.
"We can go to see her brick anytime we want to as the gardens don’t close ... the garden looks so relaxing and peaceful especially on a night when it’s lit up.”
Sharon Cooper said about her Mam’s, Pauline Atkinson, dedication, “We decided to dedicate a brick in Mam’s memory as it was another way to raise funds for the Hospice, as we have raised money for them before. It’s a lovely dedication for Mam and goes a little way to help other patients; the care and professionalism the Hospice team give is 100%.
We can go to see her brick anytime we want to as the gardens don’t close. We loved the idea of having the dedication in the Wall of Light at the Hospice where she died; all mam would say was her date of birth, 2-10-50, which is why we had that put on her brick; it always brings a little smile to our faces when we remember that. The garden looks so relaxing and peaceful especially on a night when it’s lit up.”
