The Santas are back in town!
The annual Santa Fun Run returns on Sunday 5 December at Ward Jackson Park
This festive family event invites people of all ages to sign up for this fun run or walk around the half mile route of the park, starting and finishing at The Place in the Park.
The fun begins at 10am with music and entertainment from Higham Discos and Hospice mascot Alice Mouse will also make a guest appearance.
Registration costs £8 for adults, £5 for children or £22 for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). Registration includes a Santa Suit for adults and a flashing nose and either Santa Hat or Antlers for children. Children will also receive a medal for completing the event.
Janice Forbes, the Hospice’s Community Fundraiser said “I always look forward to the Santa Fun Run; it is a lovely event and a great way for families to get in to the festive spirit. We would like to thank our generous event sponsors Readhead Associates and Property Webmasters which means that events costs are covered and all money raised can be used to support Hospice patients and their families. Thanks also to Maria and her team at The Place in the Park for welcoming us back each year.”
