Be a Stay at Home Superhero and fundraise for Alice House Hospice
About the event
THE 2.6 CHALLENGE
Be a stay-at-home hero. Take on the 2.6 Challenge and support local hospice care.
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic means that so many events – raising such important funds for Alice House – can’t go ahead this year.
But by taking on the 2.6 Challenge, you can still make a difference for patients and families who still need our specialist care throughout this pandemic.
WHAT IS THE 2.6 CHALLENGE?
The 2.6 Challenge starts on Sunday 26 April. It’s a nationwide event that you can do anywhere – including your own home.
The challenge can be anything you like – as long as it’s got the numbers 2 and 6 in it! All you need to do is dream up an activity, donate or fundraise with us, and smash your challenge, starting Sunday 26 April.
We’ve already heard some wonderful ideas:
holding a plank for 2.6 minutes | pledging to run/cycle 2.6 miles as your daily exercise
walk 2.6km inside your house | binge 26 episodes of your favourite show
bake 26 cupcakes | walk up and down the stairs 26 times
juggle for 26 minutes | challenge yourself to 26 press-ups | lose 26 pounds in weight
Whatever you do, make sure you follow government guidelines on exercise and social distancing.
FUNDRAISE WITH US
You can donate or fundraise for us via JustGiving.
