These applications can be for specific services such as Day Hospice, Inpatient Care, Bereavement Counselling, or it may for a general donation to our overall costs.

Sometimes they can be for a specific post like The James Tudor Foundation who have awarded a generous grant to help fund a Nurse Practitioner.
If we need to buy specific medical equipment then we can apply for these too. In the past we have been given grants of £6,940 to buy a specially adapted bath, which is easier for patients to use: or £3,000 to buy new mattresses for patients staying in the Inpatient Unit: or £40,245 to buy a brand new Patient Bus to bring patients to and from the Hospice; or even £10,000 towards the cost of supplying daily oxygen to help patients with their pain.
