Trustee with Marketing & Communications Skills
The Hospice is currently recruiting for a Trustee with Specialist Knowledge in Marketing & Communications.
The Hospice is governed by a Board of Trustees and is fortunate to have the support of a diverse and committed group of Trustees who are able to bring time, understanding and effort to their role of governing the Hospice. They help us in a variety of ways and are responsible for the management and administration of the Hospice, as well as acting as ambassadors in promoting our work throughout the community and beyond. They all give their time and professional expertise to us for free.
We regularly review our needs and if you have skills and experience in the fields of clinical care or marketing/communications then why not put them to good use for a vital local charity?
The Board of Trustees meets six times a year and Trustees are expected to attend the AGM and any relevant training sessions. In addition, Trustees are asked to serve on relevant Sub-Committees which involves attendance at additional meetings throughout the year. The Trustee posts are all voluntary.
Trustees are appointed for an initial three-year term with the opportunity to stand for re-election at the end of each term. The time commitment is approximately 6 Trustee Board meetings per year and Sub-Committee meetings where appropriate, time will also be spent providing advice and support to the Hospice in your specialist area.
