Day Hospice
Alice House Hospice provides a Day Hospice for people living with life limiting illnesses living in the local community.
"Their care, understanding and above all, non-judgemental approach have been just what I needed to help me regain my self-confidence and help me to plan my feet back firmly on the ground."
This service is based in the Holistic Wellbeing Centre within the Hospice grounds and operates on a Wednesday from 9.00 am until 4.00 pm. The environment is relaxed and friendly and is surrounded by beautiful gardens that are easily accessible; all meals and refreshments are included.

- Administration of treatments, such as blood transfusions and intravenous fluids
- Providing an introduction to Hospice services
- Signposting/referring to other healthcare professionals
- Supporting individual and carers’ wellbeing
