A wonderful Mother’s Day treat
Whatever the occasion, Christmas, Easter or Mothering Sunday, Alice House is always full of wonderful staff who choose to spend these special days caring for our patients.
This year a local garden centre chose to recognise all the women and mothers both at work and in our care and sent in beautiful pots of spring daffodils in full flower to brighten up the rooms and workplace.
Monique Nÿboer of the Dutch Garden Centre in Hartlepool donated 40 pots of Daffodils in full bloom and said, “To all the ladies at Alice House Hospice, have a lovely Mother’s Day Sunday.”
Karen Gibson, Clinical Services Senior Manager, said “What a lovely surprise when Monique arrived with the beautiful flowers. It really brightened up our day and the scent was unbelievable, like Spring air in the office and patients’ rooms!”
