A staff trio of Great North Runners
Three amazing staff members from Alice House Hospice are taking on the Great North Run in support of Alice House Hospice
The three ladies, Paula Tempest, Kat Inch and Grace McCann will be running to raise funds for and awareness of the work that Alice House does.
Paula said “We are running in aid of the Hospice as we all work here and we know the difference the team makes to the lives of patients and their families. We wanted to do something to help raise money but also raise awareness to our friends and family about the reason we love our work.
Patients and relatives go through so much every day; raising funds for the Hospice means we can help can to make sure the vital services continue to be available to those who need them.
We are in no way physically ready for this challenge but aim to give it everything we have to cross that finish line with our patients and families at the forefront of our mind.
The staff we work with on a daily basis give the best care we have witnessed in healthcare and this fundraising mission means we can help them continue to be able to be the amazing, compassionate caring staff they are!”
